z. 7 – 10 aka – Lattarula, White Marseilles
‘Italian Honey’ is a deliciously sweet, large greenish-yellow fig with honey-coloured interior. Reliably hardy and productive, here on the coast, with beautiful, distinct-looking leaves. Commonly grown throughout the Pacific Northwest. A slightly slower grower and slightly dwarfing. This makes it ideal as a container fig for a patio or deck. One of the best fig varieties on the West Coast!
If growing this tree in the ground on the West Coast, we recommend that you plant this tree in a sunny and protected spot; then mulch fairly heavily around its’ base. Finally, protect it with a burlap wrap in mid-winter for the first few years.
All Fig Trees are large 1-gallon size plants.
