Plant this hardy, tough but delicate-looking groundcover where you need to smother out invasive grasses and weeds. It will steadily grow into a tight carpet of green; a living mulch. Plant Creeping Veronica around the base of fruit trees and shrubs to keep the couch grass at bay! Tiny white flowers bloom late spring through summer. Easy to grow. Please note that on very rich garden soils this plant has a reputation of becoming invasive. This plant is better suited to outlying orchards or for poorer soil or for competing with heavy weeds or grasses.
