Cortaderia selloanna (Pink)

Large and stately grass, grown for their ornamental foliage and feathery plumes of light pink blossoms. Gives a dramatic focal point to a garden or entry. Fast growing. Used by permaculturists as a clean, free and endless source of weed and seed-free plant material. Grown at the edge of a garden it will keep couch grass and other invasives out. Cut a number of times each season to provide loads of plant material for mulching or composting.
