z. 7 -10 aka – Barnissotte noire, Violette de Sollies, Negro Largo
Delicious large, purplish-black figs are produced on a vigorous tree. Well-loved and celebrated in France for it’s great flavour, this fig is rarely found in North America. Originally from the area of Provence. This variety does not produce a ‘breba’ (first) crop so it would need to be grown in a cold-frame or a very warm, sunny and protected spot outdoors on the coast.
All Fig Trees are large 1-gal size plants.
