Yellowhorn Nut is a cold-hardy, self-fertile, compact nut-producing tree native to Northern China. Very ornamental with beautiful, large white blossoms in late May. Edible 1/2″ nuts are said to taste like Macademia nuts. Nuts can be pressed for salad oil. Flowers and leaves are also edible and used as food. An industry has started using Yellowhorn nuts as a bi0-diesel fuel stock.
All Permaculture Plants are 1-gallon sized plants.
